Judge Parrott presently serves on the Board of Directors for Soccer 2000, the Grayson Community Center Advisory Board, and the East Harris County Senior Citizens.

Judge Parrott is past President of the Wendel D. Ley YMCA, Galena Park Chamber of Commerce, and North Channel Optimist Club. He has also served on the Board of the Boys and Girls Harbor and has served as District Chairmen for Boy Scouts of America-Raven District Board of Directors.
